About the Pub

The Waterloo Arms is a small 1930s 'improved' public house in the Hop Back style. 'Roman' brick fireplaces form the focal points at either end of the stem of the 'T' shaped pub, the bar being in one limb and a settle and tables filling the other.

The Waterloo boasts a large conservatory and attractive garden at the rear, which welcomes families. The conservatory is also available for private functions.

Tucked away down the back streets the pub is best approached from the Salisbury road next to the docks. Take the slip road, left, look out for a big church tower, take the first right and you are there.
