The Waterloo Arms is a small 1930s 'improved' public house in the Hop Back style. 'Roman' brick fireplaces form the focal points at either end of the stem of the 'T' shaped pub, the bar being in one limb and a settle and tables filling the other.
The Waterloo boasts a large conservatory and attractive beer garden at the rear, which welcomes families. The conservatory is also available for private functions.
"Popped in for the first time in ages and was very impressed. Beer excellent as ever, especially the superb Entire Stout . Really can't fault this place. 10/10"
"I thought this was a very pleasant pub with an excellent largely Hop Back ale selection but also encompassing guests."
