The sales team at Salisbury-based Hop Back Brewery has recently taken to promoting ‘wheel’ ales – by getting on their bikes when visiting clients in big towns and cities across the country.

 

 

 

Rather than drive to visit their free trade customers, the staff at the award-winning Hop Back have opted – wherever possible – to use bicycles. The plan is to drive to existing city park and ride sites and then cycle to their customers from there.

 

Sales Manager Greig Futcher said, ‘The idea is to do our bit to help cut down on car pollution and congestion in the places we visit. Protecting the environment is important, especially for a company like Hop Back where all our beers are made with fine natural ingredients, I put the idea to the team and they all agreed straight away, we all have a few miles under our belts already and one of the team has had to change their saddle!!’
