Summer Lightning received Gold Medal at the Recent CAMRA beer festival held in conjunction with Ascot Racecourse, The festival was run at the recent meeting, although the weather was far from good for Horse Racing. The organizers of the festival at the prestigious racecourse issued the following statement:
"Congratulations to Hop Back Brewery whose ale, SUMMER LIGHTNING, beat 62 other beers to be voted Beer of The Festival at the CAMRA Ascot Racecourse Beer Festival on 30th March 2007."
Entire Stout received a Bronze Medal at the recent Society of independent brewers association (SIBA) South West Beer Competition at the 15th Maltings Beer Festival, Newton Abott. The catergory was Bottle beers and the bronze follows the Gold medal last year. This year there were more than 250 beers from 58 brewers at the festival.
